How it works — step by step

1. Describe the trip (Day 0). WhatsApp or call +91 97299 91755, or the form below. Tell us whatever you have — a fixed idea, a shortlist, or just a feeling and a week of leave. Who is travelling and their ages matters more than anything else you will tell us.
2. The shaping call (within one working day). A planner tests the idea against seasons and geography honestly: yes to Spiti in June, no to Spiti in February; yes to Kerala in December, with the houseboat booked yesterday. We agree the route's real shape — places, nights, tier, pace.
3. Itinerary and quote (2–4 working days). Day-by-day plan with named hotels and the reasoning for each, drive times stated truthfully (Indian roads are where itineraries lie most), train and flight legs chosen deliberately, and a written quote with inclusions itemised, exclusions stated, GST shown, validity dated.
4. Refine until it is yours. Swap cities, slow the pace, re-tier a hotel, add the safari. The plan is done when you stop editing it.
5. We book and brief. Hotels, transport, guides, permits where routes need them (Northeast ILP states, Ladakh's environment fee, forest-reserve safaris), drivers briefed on your family by name, dietary needs sent ahead to every kitchen.
6. Travel with a line home. One WhatsApp thread for the whole trip — reconfirmations happening invisibly behind it, and a real person on it when the mountain weather or a missed train tests the plan.

How far in advance should we plan?

Comfortable lead times: 3–4 weeks for most road trips; 6–8 weeks for peak-season hills, Kerala's December, Ladakh's summer and anything involving safari zones or top palace hotels; longest of all for yatra seasons and festival windows (Pushkar, Hornbill, Rann Utsav), which sell out on their own calendars. We rescue short-notice trips regularly and will tell you frankly what your timeline still allows.

Can you plan for elderly parents or mixed-generation groups?

It is our most common custom brief, and the craft we are proudest of: pace set by the slowest traveller without boring the fastest, hotels vetted for lifts and bathrooms, drive days capped honestly, split-itinerary days where generations part after breakfast and reunite at dinner, and dietary needs sent ahead to every kitchen. Do you handle permits, safaris and yatra bookings?

Yes — this is precisely where custom trips fail when self-planned. Can NRIs or foreign passport holders use this service?

Constantly — homecoming trips, roots visits and show-the-family-India journeys are a core stream. We handle the differences that matter: monument ticket tiers, hotel registration formalities, Protected Area Permit rules where routes touch them, and itineraries paced for travellers landing jet-lagged into an Indian wedding week.
